On Thursday, November 13, 2025, there will be NO SCHOOL for Jackson County Middle School Students ONLY. All staff will report like a normal day. All other schools will be in person and on regular schedule. There is still a problem with the heat at JCMS but will hopefully be resolved tomorrow.

Veteran's our annual Veteran's Day Meal has been postponed and rescheduled
for Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Jackson County High
School Gymnasium. We apologize to all of our wonderful Veterans in Jackson
County for the inconvenience. This is due to our schools being out due to
weather yesterday and a heating issue today. JCHS Family and Consumer
Science students cook the meal and JCHS JROTC students serve the meal for
the Veterans. The students have not been in person yesterday or today, thus
being the reason for the postponement and rescheduling. Again, we sincerely
apologize for the inconvenience.

The Jackson County Boys Basketball Program is having a Fall League for any boys that want to join grades K-5th grade.
The Fall League will be on Saturdays only, the initial evaluation/registration is tomorrow, September 2, 2025 at 6:30 at the JCHS gym. There is a $50 sign up fee. There will be 5 Saturdays of training & games. This is a great opportunity to better your skills and help develop the future basketball stars in the county.
