Jackson County Public Schools is taking full advantage of winter break to spruce up your Jackson County High School gymnasium with a fresh coat of paint. Stay tuned for new vinyl and mats that will strengthen the JCHS brand and make you even more proud to be a General!

Construction crews are working overtime through Christmas Break- getting as much done as possible. The gym is just one of the focuses. The floor is currently sanded and almost ready for stain. The gym will be two-toned stain with inside the 3-point line being a darker stain. It will look grand and, of course, customized to reflect JCMS General colors and logo.

There will be no school, Thursday, December 12, 2024. It will be NTI day 6.

Jackson County School District is excited about the renovation completion of the concrete steps that lead from the Softball field to JCHS as well as the steps that lead to the student parking lot. New steps were added to the lower parking lot to make travel to the high school more convenient and safer for students and families to use.
