Opening its doors in 1991, Jackson County Middle School houses grades 6-8 with a student population of approximately 500 students. Students participate in a rigorous curriculum, which includes writing, reading, math, social studies, science, STEM, practical living, college & career readiness, and humanities. JCMS services the people of Jackson County by providing educational services, Youth Service Center, Promise Neighborhood, and other community outreach programs.
