Updated School Calendar

School Calendar Update

After going through the Calendar Committee process, the following changes have been made to the school calendar.

 

Spring Break will be April 4th & April 5th.

No school for students on April 19th (Good Friday)

No school for students on May 27th (Memorial Day)

Last day for students will be May 30th

Plan day for staff on May 31st

JCHS Graduation on June 1st

Closing Day for staff on June 3rd

JCHS Student Drop Off

Parents and Guardians after dropping off students in the morning at the Library entrance please do not make a U Turn.   Please go to the back of the building and turn around, or exit through the upper parking lot.  This will make the drop off area much safer for our students

JCHS ACADEMIC Team District Quick Recall Champions

JCHS ACADEMIC Team is the District Quick Recall Champions and 3rd place overall. Science-Cameron Parrett 3rd place and Davin Crowe 4th. Math - Cameron Parrett 5th. Social Studies-Hunter Isaacs 2nd and Matthew Thomas 5th. Arts and Humanities - Chris Smith 4th. Language Arts - 1st place Chris Smith and 3rd Hunter Isaacs.

JCHS 2018-2019 Yearbooks

Orders are now being taken in the school store for the 2018-19 yearbooks. The cost is $45 without name and $50 with.

 At least a $25.00 deposit must be made. The full amount must be paid if you have your name on it. The last day to get your name on the cover is February 25.

SCHOLARSHIP BULLETIN
Accelerated Reader Challenge WINNERS!!!

JCHS Library and Youth Services Center sponsored an Accelerated Reader Challenge for JCHS students. Students could read books and take AR test then enter their name in for a drawing for prizes. Winners are Virginia Howard and Tommy Couch. Other reading challenges will be going on during the school year. Congratulations to all the students who participated.
